Rosie and James’ wedding at Wick Farm, Somerset was a great day and a lot of fun for Garry and I to photograph. The planning and level of detail that went into the day was meticulous and everything had its place. This became apparent months before the day in question as Rosie & James had everything planned well in advance; not only with us but the entire wedding it seemed.
The morning starts with breakfast downstairs for James and his party in the Archangel in Frome whilst you ascend the winding staircase to the top to find Rosie and her party getting ready, champagne flowing. The relaxed nature of both parties was evident and a testament to the character of both Rosie and James, we knew we would be in for a good day.
The rest, as they say, is history. We arrive at Wick Farm where the wonderfully simple ceremony has many laughs before moving outside for drinks and hugs all round followed by a fantastic set of speeches, some great looking food, drinking games and then some dancing. Rosie told us that her cheeks were sore from laughing and smiling all day but that’s always how it should be for any bride and groom. We’ll let the photos tell the rest.
